The Genesis of a Dream

In September 2021, Blue Heron Coaching spread its wings, marking the realization of Rebecca Densmore-Stoll’s aspiration for independence through entrepreneurship. Her initial foray into self-employment began with a youthful venture as a Mary Kay consultant, a role she embraced with the hope of earning one of the iconic pink Cadillacs. Although that particular dream didn’t materialize, the experience was rich with lessons that would shape her future.

A Return to Learning

Rebecca’s journey took a turn back towards academia, where her passion for learning was reignited. She pursued and achieved a Master of Science in Technology from Eastern Illinois University, which opened doors to a pivotal role in K12 education. As a regional school-to-work coordinator, Rebecca discovered the profound impact educators have on their communities and the transformative power of teaching.

It was in this environment that Rebecca’s dedication to serving educators and students blossomed. She witnessed the steady commitment of teachers and leaders, the synergy of collaboration to achieve the greater good, and the magic of pedagogy that fosters growth and confidence in young minds.
